Some thanks:
- First, my parents, for putting up with me working on this instead of a much more typical job.
- The three musicians I got to help with this - Hazel, Ap0c, and Artemis Bena [no social media that I'm aware of]. Music contributes a ton to games, and this one's no exception.
- All the people who played this game well before release, finding bugs and raising issues with various mechanical or graphical aspects of the game. One set of eye's just not enough to go over a game as expansive as this, and resolving many of the things raised by them have made False Skies a much better game than it would've otherwise been.
- The various communities I'm in. It's a bit of a tired phrase, but one needs a village to raise a child, and the same goes for making a game of any real scope. Without other people to comment on and bounce ideas off of, many of False Skies' aspects, or indeed the game itself, would've been much less well developed or have died on the vine entirely.
I've been working on this game since 2018, or 2016 if you include some very initial sketches I did for how the sprites and tiles should look. It's been a long road, but I'm finally at the end of it.
