Midyear Progress Report


Been a bit since I've posted a new devlog or the like here, bu that doesn't mean I've not been working on this. Far from it, in fact.

I've built out past the point of no return I mentioned in my last devlog, so here's a few things I've been doing since my last post:


1: New skill screen



The default OHRRPGCE skill screen's fine, but it has some aspects to it I wasn't liking. It wasn't in line with how the other menus in the game looked, and there were some other things I wanted to show.


2: A whole bunch of new dungeons [and additions to previous ones]

 



Since my previous devlog post, I've made six more dungeons, and am busy on a seventh. Some are gimmicky, some are straightforward, and I'm not getting into them here.


3: T4 classes

I mentioned them in the prior post, but I suppose that since that wasn't a devlog it's worth repeating: the fourth tier of classes has been done. These are capstone classes of sorts, with either skills that require a bit more finesse than those of prior tiers to work at their best, or have some sort of overall gimmick with their skills to worry about. These are the ones that'll take you through the rest of the game, so choose wisely.


Going forward..

There's still plenty to be done, but I can see a proverbial light at the end of the tunnel now. I'm planning on doing an obnoxious form of early access come the end of the year, but that's something I'll worry about when I get there.
